I have been taking advantage of a little bit of time off to clean through files, delete old things I no longer want/need and make sure my backup system is doing all that I want it to do. In the process, I came across a fair number of duplicate files, especially on my external hard drive. I found a simple, free and effective program for finding and eliminating duplicates:

It has a very nice interface and I was able to use it right away without having to read through a lot of instructions. I would definitely recommend it as part of your regular file maintenance.
