TIME MANAGEMENT TIP
I’ve been busy juggling schedules a little more than I usually do in the summer and it got me thinking about a few tricks I know to keep a household of 8 running {somewhat} smoothly while working part time from home. One of my biggest tips is to have a certain day for major tasks. For instance, I always go grocery shopping on Mondays. This cuts down on extra trips to the store just to grab a few things, which can be a big money and time waster. Thursday is sheet changing day. Saturday is whole house cleaning day. Sunday is organizing day.
This idea translates well to selling digital scrapbooking products. I also have a certain day to do business and designing activities. Of course you’re all familiar with the Friday newsletter from CUDigitals but I do this is my personal design business as well. I do my own newsletter on Saturdays. I have regular blog promotions that always happen on the same day of the week. Tuesdays are freebies. Wednesdays are inspiration days. Thursdays are my Mystery Deals. You might already be working within some of these day constraints based on the new release schedule in the stores where you sell. You can save yourself time and aggravation by building some other regular activities into a regular routine. This can really increase your productivity! And who doesn’t want more of that??
