Even if you’re not on Pinterest, some of your fans and customers surely are! So why not make it easy for them to pin images from your blog, such as great products, layouts and freebies. It’s now easier than ever to do in either Blogger or WordPress.
Blogger
There is an outstanding and incredibly easy tutorial over at CodeItPretty.com that explains how to add the button in Blogger. I followed these exact steps to get the Pin It button on this blog. I also followed the directions for removing it from the blog header. It took about 3 minutes. Directions are HERE.
WordPress (self-hosted)
There are a ton of Pin It Plugins available for WordPress. I use and recommend this one:
Pinterest Pin It Button for Images
It is styled a little differently than the Blogger one above, but it works great and I have it installed on my own blog and at DigiScrapAddicts. After installing the plugin, it is a simple matter of telling t which pages to use it on. That’s it. Don’t know how to install plugins? Find help at WPBeginner.com
