Today, you can get to know one of our great designers at CUDigitals. I know it’s fun to learn about people’s lives and inspiration when you are buying their products. So here’s the scoop on Digi-doddle Doo. Learn a little more about her, download a freebie and shop her store sale.
What is your real name if different than your design name?My real name is ColeyTell us a little bit about yourself and your family.I am a Mom of 3 Fabulous kids. My oldest is a Senior in High School, my middle is in Junior High and my youngest is in 1st grade. They keep me very busy. Still married to my High School sweet heart and going strong. ;) I work full time as a pharmacy technician, part time as a digital designer and over time as a wife/Mom! My favorite time is spent with my little family!
How long have you been designing CU products and how did you get started?I started designing CU products 2 years ago. I originally began designing stitchery patterns with my Twin Sister and still run a pattern design business called Twin Stitchers. But I realized it was the design that I loved. I learned Photo Shop Elements on my own and then decided to try my hand at digi-scrapping which then turned to digi-scrap design. I sold my doodles first then colored as CU clipart. When I started designing my own templates for my PU kits I decided to share those as CU also.

Do you design PU products as well?
I have designed a handful of PU digi-scrap kits. They are so fun to create and give me a chance to play with other CU designer's products. If they weren't so time consuming I would design more!
What programs do you use to design your products?I use Photo Shop Elements and Inkscape.What is your favorite time of the day to design?I do most of my design work late at night after all the kiddos are in bed.
Can you give us a great tip for using one of your products to create digital scrapbooking kits?I love to apply layer styles to my templates and CU clipart. It is really fun to apply overlays to different layers also. I love to see designers make my products their own using these techniques.
What are a few of your favorite products that you’ve made?My favorite CU kits I have made are my "Classic Monsters" and "Classic Monsters 2" template kits. I love Halloween and had a lot of fun designing these kits.
What is your best-selling product?My best selling products are the "All about Moi'!" CU clipart and the "Christmas - Santa MEGA bundle - CU templates".
Do you have plans for your next set of CU products?I am currently working on some fun Cupcake/baking kits.
What do you love to do when you are not working?I love to go on vacation with my family. I also love decorating my home and sewing.
What is your favorite beverage?I drink LOTs of diet Dr.Pepper....which is how I manage to run 2 businesses, work a full time job, and keep up with 3 very busy kids.
If you could learn anything what would it be?I would love to learn how to make my own layer styles! Actually anything photo-shop related is fun to learn.
