One of the great things about digital scrapbook designing is being able to draw income from work that was completed months and sometimes years ago. While there is definitely a push to bring out new products on a regular basis to keep bringing customers back to our stores, it is also important and beneficial to advertise and promote older products. It doesn’t take much effort to set up a sale, do a blog post, pin or upload some sample layouts and all the other little marketing jobs we do for last year’s stuff. A good portion of your customers may have never even seen it since even 40% is considered an outstanding newsletter open rate. Another option is to do a “remix” – take an older kit, freshen it up a bit with a few of the latest tends and re-release it. If you are used to putting out two new kits or product collections per month, this could increase your sales and exposure a little bit and we all want that, right?
